When a Roblox gift card appears not to work, first decide which problem you actually have: the code will not redeem, the card redeemed but you cannot find its value, or the balance is present but cannot complete the purchase. Those situations need different checks.
Keep the card and purchase receipt. Do not post the PIN in a comment, send it to a stranger offering a balance check or enter it into a third-party verification site. If the card belongs to a child, a parent or guardian should handle the account and purchase details.
Confirm the account before entering the code
Open the official Roblox redemption page in a web browser and check the signed-in username. This matters especially on a shared computer or a parent’s phone, where the browser and the game app may be using different accounts.
Roblox’s current help distinguishes browser redemption from its standard mobile apps and consoles; it documents a Samsung Galaxy app exception. Using the official browser flow is the clearest common starting point. Read the card’s own instructions too, because different card types do not always deliver value in the same form.
If the code is rejected, check the characters
Enter the code carefully, checking each character against the card or delivery message. Roblox identifies lookalikes such as the number zero and the letter O, or the number one and a capital I, as possible sources of entry errors.
If it still fails, keep the exact error text or a screenshot. Avoid cycling through unrelated accounts or paying someone to unlock the card. A clear record of the original attempt is more useful when the retailer or official support needs to investigate.

Roblox Credit and Robux are different balances
A successful gift-card redemption does not always mean that the Robux counter increases immediately. Roblox explains that ordinary gift-card value can be held as Roblox Credit, while Amazon and Party Packs gift cards are redeemable for Robux rather than credit.
Check the browser redemption or billing page on the account that received the card. Roblox Credit is managed through the web browser and is not displayed on every account screen. Looking at the app alone can therefore lead you to assume the value disappeared when you are checking the wrong balance.
If credit is present, inspect the purchase
Use the options currently shown on the official purchasing page. Roblox may show a Get Robux option or, for a small remaining balance, a Convert Credit to Robux option. Read the package and amount before confirming rather than assuming either button represents the offer you had in mind.
The current credit guide says payment types cannot be combined to split a purchase. A balance below the full checkout amount should therefore be treated as an affordability check, not another code-entry failure. Prices, taxes and displayed packages can vary; use the actual checkout rather than a conversion table copied from an old article.
Choose the right support route
For a missing code from an outside promotion, contact the retailer that ran it. For an online purchase made through Roblox’s gift-card shop, its help directs digital-purchase questions to the relevant sales partner. For a redemption problem that remains after the basic checks, use official Roblox support.
Prepare the username, purchase date, retailer, receipt and error evidence. Provide any requested PIN or card images only through the verified official support process, never in a public post. Refund and currency terms depend on the applicable card terms and jurisdiction; do not assume a balance can be transferred or refunded.
