How we cover products
The category name tells you the topic; the article label tells you the method. NewsHoxs uses the following distinctions so readers can assess the evidence behind a recommendation.
Guides and explainers
These articles provide decision frameworks, practical questions and explanations. They can draw on official documentation, but they do not imply that we have owned, ridden or benchmarked every product mentioned. Our launch product coverage is in this category.
Specification analysis
An analysis of documented specifications should identify the exact model, region, documentation and relevant date. Performance predictions must be described as expectations, with the limits explained. A specification cannot be converted into a measured result.
Hands-on reviews
A future hands-on review must state what was tested, for how long, under which conditions and on what software version where relevant. It should disclose whether a product was bought, borrowed or supplied, and explain limitations in access or testing.
For phones, useful evidence can include comparable camera samples, battery-test conditions and sustained performance observations. For motorcycles, the route, duration, rider context and riding conditions matter. A short demonstration cannot establish long-term reliability.
Scores and comparisons
We do not attach invented numerical scores to source-based guides. Any scored comparison needs a defined method and enough evidence for a reader to understand the result. Prices and availability should carry the market and date checked.
Questions about a claim
Use our corrections form if an article’s label or evidence is unclear. We would rather clarify a limitation than leave a stronger impression than the work supports.
